The military dictatorship of Burma and China continues to kill and jail it’s own peaceful people for daring to protest human rights abuse.  When will evil such as this be stopped in the world?

Bush is promoting democracy for Cuba and North Korea etc etc. But never once has he mentioned China. Why?

I have been told that this site has been blocked by the Communist China.  This site and it’s sister site www.arnie.net, have reported on China’s brutal dictatorial oppression for many years.  The sister site has also been blocked by China’s Internet firewall.

For those of you who were not aware of it, Communist China has a system which filters and blocks all Internet traffic in and out of the country.  The reason behind this is to control the flow of information in and out of the country.

When was the last time main stream media ever used the term “Communist China” or “Red China”?  They always did until the 1980’s when big, multinational, corporations began to move manufacturing to China.

Let no one be lulled by the big multi-national corporations, into thinking China is this benign, quaint Asian country of milk and honey. China has been and is now one of the most oppressive and brutal dictatorships in the modern world. Check out the following regarding the Tibetan situation:

LHASA—On March 21, the situation in Lhasa remained tense as the Chinese communist regime continues to flood Lhasa with various armed forces. The regime plans to strengthen its martial law as it anticipates more uprising from the Tibetans in Lhasa on March 24-26.

This week President Bush gave a speech at the UN. He declared that the world’s dictatorships should give their people freedom. He mentioned many countries. However, he never once mentioned Communist China.

Communist China is one of the most oppressive dictatorships in the world. It is, in fact, just as brutal and oppressive as Myanmar. If the people of China took to the streets in protest, as they did in Tiananmen Square in 1989, where 3000 civilians were killed by their own Communist Chinese army.

Why did Bush not list China? Because the big business interests in the US would not want you to know just how brutal China’s dictatorship is. Every time you buy something made in China, think about the people you are oppressing in that brutal dictatorship.

I spent the past two weeks visiting what has to be the jewel of the Pacific Asian Rim, Taiwan. This independent democracy is something to behold. It’s scenery is as intense as it’s fiercely independent people.

I spent some time in the Kenting National Park. Kenting National Park is situated on Hengchun Peninsula at the southernmost tip of Taiwan. It features a coral reef-type topography and offers the glories of both mountains and seas as well as the beauties of lakes and plains. The unique regional features here include coral reefs, solitary mountains, ponds, sand dunes, and tropical forests, and the area offers topographical scenery of many different types such as the broken-ridge coral topography near the west coast, the stiff winds of the east coast, wind-eroded formations, limestone platforms on the south coast, collapsed cliffs, and sandy beaches. This is a must-see area.

I also toured through Tainan. This southern farm area is quaint and demonstrates the work ethic of the Taiwanese people.

My final stay was in Taipei. This is a world class city. It is also home to the tallest building in the world, Taipei 101. This magnificent building is breathtaking and the view from the top is unbelievable. The cleanliness of the city and the modern architecture is amazing. The shopping malls are exquisite and boast such stores as Christian Dior, Prada, Tiffany and Celine. Just to name a few. The transportation is first rate with bus, subway and rapid trail transit at your beckon call. Taipei must be the motor scooter capital of the world. These gas conserving little devices swarm the streets like little honey bees.

The food of Taiwan is a seafood lover’s delight. Almost every kind of seafood can be found in the restaurants and street food vendors of Taipei. Other traditional Chinese food is also abundant. Virtually every major US food chain is in Taipei: McDonald’s, Burger King, Outback Steak House, TGI Friday’s, KFC, Pizza Hut, Dunken Doughnuts and of course, Starbucks.

Finally, a word about the people of Taiwan. The Taiwanese are a industrious and proud people. They are very friendly and many can speak English. The official language is Mandarin Chinese. They take their politics very seriously. Indeed, their turnout at the polls is well in excess of 80%.

Taiwan is a great place to visit. If you want to go to Asia, I would suggest you add Taiwan to your must-see itinerary.

Communist China tested the shoot down of a satellite. They came within firing range of one of our subs. They’re making natural gas deals with Russia. And they own a good chunk of US debt.

It seems that no one, not the Democrats, not the Republicans, not the military and certainly not corporate America, seem to care very much about Communist China’s activities.

Most average citizens don’t have a clue. In fact, most average US citizens don’t even know that China is a communist dictatorship. A repressive dictatorship no less cruel than North Korea or Cuba.

Corporate America’s vision is narrowed by greed while they simply choose to overlook the fact that they are feeding a repressive, dictatorial government. A government that will one day bite us in the neck. Millions of Americans have lost good paying jobs thanks to the narrow minded greed of corporate America. Make no mistake about it, US-based, multinational corporations hold no allegiance to this country. Their allegiance is to their bottom line and the Wall Street analysts.

As long as corporate America is happy then the Democrats and the Republicans are happy. After all, they can’t exist without the big money of the corporate lobbyists. Lobbyists who’s only objective is to satisfy their client’s absolute control of the Congress and the executive branch of our government.

Does anyone care about Communist China’s activities? I know I do. I wish most people did. Do you?

The Washington times this week reported: “A Chinese submarine stalked a U.S. aircraft carrier battle group in the Pacific last month and surfaced within firing range of its torpedoes and missiles before being detected, The Washington Times has learned.”

Many in the US Defense Department have warned of communist China’s increasing military strength as evidenced in the US Department of Defense 2005 annual report to the Congress. It is no secret that the US is very concerned that the area which includes Korea, Taiwan and Japan could be invaded by and controlled by communist China. Something the US government does not want to see happen. It is also no secret that the US relies upon trade with China. A little known fact is that China holds over $1 Trillion in US debt (T-Bills, government bonds etc.). Also disconcerting is the number of cyber attacks and hacking attempts on the US Defense Department networks and computer system from communist China. The Washington Post reported this in August, 2005.

Many have said that communist China would not carry out an invasion because it depends upon US trade to feed it’s rapidly growing economy. But who is dependent upon who? Why does communist China have 800 missiles aimed at Taiwan? Taiwan is tiny. Wouldn’t one missile do the job? China has held a grudge against Japan over a horrific incident which took place in 1938 when Japan invaded China and killed over 300,000 Chinese. Note that Mao Ze-Dong killed over 1 million of his own people after 1949 when his communist rebels took control of China.I think the US government has a good reason to keep an eye on any military activity by communist China. I feel strongly that this incident involving the USS Kitty Hawk was simply communist China’s Navy testing the weakness of our Navy’s detection system. The USS Kitty Hawk is in that area of the East China Sea to protect American interests in the area should communist China launch an attack on Japan, South Korea or Taiwan.
