I see Bush and his cronies are now trying to bribe us with $800. Why not make it an even $1000? As usual Bush and his cronies have missed it. I’m sure they think that if they just throw some money at the ingrates that things will calm down. I don’t think so.

We must see a complete change of attitude in Washington. The Congress must really understand that this is a nation by the people and for the people. We don’t need anymore big business interests buying off our Congress or our President and Vice President.

The stock market has been plummeting.  So this is how Bush’s policy of deregulation and unbridled corporate greed is supposed to have a trickle down effect? I would say for most of us it an avalanche.

Huge export imbalance, banks being bailed out by foreign money barons, Meaningful jobs lost, fewer things being manufactured in the US.

This all spells trouble for the US economy and the middle class.  Washington has failed to do anything about it for fear of upsetting the large corporate interests.  Large corporate interests who could give a damn about most of us hard working people who are now just trying to survive.  Trying to survive while the oil companies, the large, multi-national corporations and Washington lobbyists get rich.

What can we do about it? Your comments are welcome.
