Well, the Democrats did it. They took the House and the Senate. Albeit, by a tiny majority in the Senate. Maybe now we have some balance in the Congress. The narrow control of the Senate may be the best thing that could have happened. Both parties in the Senate will now need to really work on their bi-partisan skills if either of them want to get a bill passed.
I think more importantly, the Congress and the Bush administration got a clear message from the American people. We are fed up with the status quo.
