Oil companies making historical profits. Or boys are in Iraq fighting a war that is quickly turning into another Vietnam. A war that Congress never declared. Our government eavesdrops on our phone calls, our banking and our search habits on the Internet.  Our President refuses to enforce laws passed by our Congress. American jobs are outsourced to China and India. Illegal immigrants from Mexico enter our country seemingly unabated.

How longer are tax paying, hard working American citizens going to take it? How much longer will we continue to bend over? Your comments are welcome.

I discovered a very interesting news item from September of 2005. It describes how China has been selling rockets to Iran. Here’s the link to this article:

I’m sure by now that everyone has heard about President Bush using the S word while chatting with England’s Tony Blair. I don’t think any sitting president should ever use swear words in public. He probably shouldn’t use them even with his staff. It’s undignified and might be offensive to Mr. Blair. What do you think?

Do we need another Hary Truman in the Whitehouse? Here are a few quotes of the late President Harry S. Truman:

“Carry the battle to them. Don’t let them bring it to you. Put them on the defensive and don’t ever apologize for anything.

I had faith in Israel before it was established, I have in it now. I believe it has a glorious future before it - not just another sovereign nation, but as an embodiment of the great ideals of our civilization.

Most of the problems a President has to face have their roots in the past.

When even one American - who has done nothing wrong - is forced by fear to shut his mind and close his mouth - then all Americans are in peril.

“Once a government is committed to the principle of silencing the voice of opposition, it has only one way to go, and that is down the path of increasingly repressive measures, until it becomes a source of terror to all its citizens and creates a country where everyone lives in fear.”

To enter the United State legally is like climbing Mt. Everest. It can take years to obtain a green card while waiting in one’s mother country. And then, only if you have a college degree. If you are a regular working Joe, you have almost no chance to immigrate to the US.

Just to visit (must obtain a visitor’s visa) the USA from countries such as Taiwan, Thailand, Romania, China or Russia … just to name a few, you need the following:

  • Title deed to property in your home country.
  • At least $50,000 usd in your bank account.
  • Stand in line waiting for a visa interview for 2 or more hours.
  • An invitation from someone in America.
  • Pay $100.00 usd for a Visa application (non-refundable if visa is denied).

Residents of Japan, England and Germany, just to name a few, don’t need a visitor’s visa to visit the US. Only a valid passport from their homeland.

Please note that a Visa only grants travel to the USA. It does not grant entry. Entry is granted by an Immigration Inspector at the USA port of Entry. The Immigration Inspector can bar you from entering and send you back home immediately.

Bush now says his main mission for Iraq was to free them from a dictatorship. Why did he not free the oppressed of communist countries: Cuba, China and N. Korea? I welcome your comments and discussion on this question.

Based upon what we have learned during the Bush presidency, should he be impeached? Enter your comments.

Will communist China dominate the world to the extent that the USA will be a third-world nation? Your comments are welcome.
